Of Greek and Norwegian heritage, Demetri grew up in Oregon and British Columbia before training at London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, going on to build his career between the UK, US and Canada.

With more than eighty screen credits, Demetri has portrayed an extensive range of characters in productions spanning period pieces, comedy, science fiction, crime and contemporary drama. His work includes acclaimed titles such as Neuromancer, Black Mirror, and Saving Private Ryan, alongside celebrated franchises including X-Men, Torchwood, and Highlander. Equally at home in comedy and drama his credits range from Ten Percent and Episodes to The Alienist and Darkest Hour. His work also extends to voicing major AAA video games such as Dying Light 2 and 007 Legends, where he has brought both heroes and villains to life.

On stage, Demetri has performed with some of Britain’s most respected theatre companies, including the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Court and in the West End.
